Yann Tiersen

Guillaume Yann Tiersen (born June 23, 1970) is a French musician and composer known internationally for composing the score of Jean-Pierre Jeunet film music Amlie. His is recognized by its use of a wide range of instruments in relatively compositions minimalist, often with a touch of either European classical music or French folk music, using primarily the piano, accordion or fiddle with instruments like the melodica, xylophone, toy piano; Ondes Martenot, harpsichord and typewriter. It has been compared to musicians Chopin, Erik Satie, Phillip Glass and Michael Nyman.

C.H. Gerardo Matos Rodriguez

Rodrguez SOTELO (March 28, April 1897 25, 1948), also known as Becho, was a Uruguayan musician, composer and journalist. His most famous work is La Cumparsita tango. It is perhaps the most famous and recognizable tango through the ages. Rodriguez was born in Lindsay, son of the owner of a tavern. He studied architecture, but not finish the race. He writes as a young student in 1917. However, it was initially too shy to play the song himself, and he was known by the performance of others. He has traveled extensively through Europe and stayed in Paris for some time, and work as agents of Uruguay to Germany. In 1931, he collaborated on the soundtrack Luces de Buenos Aires shooting in Joinville, France, starring Carlos Gardel. Rodrguez also founded several plays in Buenos Aires: El Gran Circo Rivolta Manual Romeros, among them. Later, in Montevideo, he directed his own tango orchestra for a short period.
