Lee Konitz (born October 13, 1927) is an American composer and jazz alto saxophonist born in Chicago, Illinois. Widely considered one of the engines Cool Jazz, Konitz has also successfully played in bebop andLee Konitz  the avant-garde settings. Thelonious Sphere Monk (October 10, 1917 to 17 February 1982) was a jazz pianist and composer. Widely regarded as one of theThelonious Monk most important musicians in jazz – he’s only five jazz musicians is the cover of Time- Monk had a unique improvisational style and made participation in a number of standard jazz repertoire, including  Epistrophy, Round Midnight,   Blue Monk,  Straight, No Chaser  and Well, it is not necessary.  Often considered the founder of bebop, Monk’s playing style later evolved away from that form.His compositions and improvisations are full of dissonant harmonies and angular melodic twists, and are impossible to separate from Monk’s unorthodox approach to the piano, which combined a very percussive attack with abrupt, dramatic use of silence and hesitation, a style nicknamed the melodious thunk  of his wife Nellie. Monk was born October 10, 1917 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, the son of Thelonious Monk and Barbara, two years after his sister Marian.A brother, Thomas, was born a few years later. In 1922 the family moved to 243 West 63: E Street in Manhattan. Monk started playing the piano at age six. Although he received formal training and knocked on piano lessons from his sister, he is largely self-taught. Monk Stuyvesant High School, but not academic. He briefly toured with an evangelist in his teens when he played the organ, and in his late teens, he began to find work playing jazz.

Wayne Shorter (born August 25, 1933) is a jazz musician and composer, often regarded as one of the most important Wayne Shorter saxophonists in jazz and American composers of his generation. Their efforts have undoubtedly made him a household name among jazz fans worldwide, and earned the honors and awards, including several Grammy awards. Shorter has recorded dozens of albums as a leader, and has appeared on dozens more with others including Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers in the early 1950, Miles Davis second great quintet of the 1960′s and jazz-rock fusion band Weather Report, co-directed short in 1970.Many of his compositions have become standards. Shorter was born in Newark, New Jersey, and attended Newark Arts High School.   He loved music, encouraged by his father to take the saxophone as a teenager (his brother Alan became a trumpeter). After studying at New York University in 1956 Shorter spent two years in the U.S. Army, where he played briefly with Horace Silver. After leaving the army he played with Maynard Ferguson. It was during his youth was nicknamed Shorter Mr.Gone who later became an album title of Weather Report.

It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Brian Jones, although contributed signature riff of the song. Bill Wyman argues in his book that the song was a collective effort in the group,  Nanki-Phelge one but wrongly credited to Jagger / Richards at the end (see below  History and composition) . The single reached in the U.S. and UK charts in 1966. In 2004 he was ranked No. 174 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. as the song is often considered a  Paint It Black , the variant appeared on some reissues and compilations.
