Julia

Julia  is a song by the Beatles. This is the last song on side two (and a disc in the CD era) 1968 album, The Beatles (often called The White Album).  Julia  was written by John Lennon, and features Lennon on vocals and acoustic guitar.  It was written in 1968, the Beatles visit to India, where he studied with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. It was here Lennon learned the style of guitar picking song (known as  Travis picking ) of the Scottish musician Donovan. No other Beatle sings or plays the recording.
