Team Chrono Cross has been pioneered by the screenwriter and director Masato Kato and other developers of Chrono Trigger, including art director Yasuyuki Honne and planner Minoru Akao. The composer Yasunori Mitsuda scored Chrono Cross and Nobuteru Yuki designed its characters. The story of Chrono Cross focuses on a young man named Serge and a theme of parallel worlds. Faced with an alternate reality where he died as a child, Serge endeavors to discover the truth of the conflict between the two worlds. The boy thief striking and several other characters to aid in his travels around the tropical archipelago El Nido. The struggle to discover his past and find the mysterious Frozen Flame, Serge is particularly challenged by Lynx, an antagonist of the shadow of work to grasp. For the launch in Japan in 1999 and the United States in 2000, Chrono Cross received high ratings and critical acclaim, earning a rare perfect 10.0 score from GameSpot.
