Castlevania

Castlevania is a series of games created and developed by Konami. The series started in Japan September 26, 1986 with the release of Dracula Akumajō (  Akumajō Dorakyura?, Literally  Devil Castle Dracula") for the Famicom Disk System (FDS), followed by a alternative version for the MSX platform October 2, 1930. Although MSX 2 (located in Europe and Brazil as Vampire Killer) was released outside of Japan first, the series has not received much attention outside of Japan until the FDS version was used cartridge format for the Nintendo Entertainment System and located the North American and European releases of Castlevania in 1987. The series has quickly become a recognized landmark in the design of platform action game.
